India airfreight
We provide a full packing and airfreight service for perishables from the UK to India. Our temperature controlled packing system works alongside our chilled and frozen distribution services to provide a one stop shop for temperature sensitive goods for export to India. As well as providing export services, we also have a first class airfreight system in place a strategic locations throughout the Indian sub continent.
Significant resources have been invested to ensure we have the infrastructure in place to maintain an accurate and data logged temperature controlled environment for our customer's products. As India's economy continues to expand, and more products are sourced there for export to Global Markets, we will continue to expand our services alongside. Our Temperature Controlled Logistics Partners in India are located in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Dehli and Mumbai. Maintaining core temperatures to protect our Customers products from deterioration is a vitally important part of our logistics system. With temperatures within the Indian interior ranging from -13 °C to +40 °C there is little margin for error.
Whether your pharmaceutical or perishable products require storage or transportation at positive or minus temperatures we have the key facilities and systems in place. Our partners have specialised in "Temperature Controlled Logistics" for over 12 years and have established Global Trade Lanes.
We pride ourselves in our ability to send one sample box by Air and treat this with the same degree of care as full pallet loads for shipment via Airfreight. Data loggers are used from point of collection to point of delivery, ensuring both peace of mind and product integrity.

- To handle temperature control shipment from India requires 1st rate Logistics routing to maintain the required temperature and smooth handling.
Ahmedabad Shipments
Air freight shipment need to be pick-up from supplier factory to our Mumbai warehouse and will be booked through Mumbai Airport to LHR on direct flight. (E.g. If going to UK)
Temperature Controlled LCL Ocean shipments are undertaken in the same way as Air Freight in that we collect the cargo from the supplier and take to our Mumbai warehouse for further loading in reefer container to relevant port.
Reefer FCL Ocean shipments from one supplier we send the reefer container directly to the suppliers factory and once the cargo is loaded, is then sent direct to the Port of Nhava Sheva.
Ahmedabad to Mumbai by road transit time is about 12 to 14 hrs. Ahmedabad airport does not have direct flights to many major Global destinations. If the cargo is booked from AMD it will probably be be routed via Dubai where upon receipt we then ensure the cargo remains in a temperature controlled environment. AMD airport does not have a sizeable temperature controlled warehouse and the majority of cargo is stored outside the warehouse.
We much prefer to ensure that our AMD shipments are routed via Mumbai airport, using direct flights thus guaranteeing the required core temperature throughout the logistics process. The reason for this is that flights via Dubai can be subject to delay and this can cause issues within the temperature controlled transit sheds.
Bangalore
Air freight shipment need to be pick-up from supplier factory to our Bangalore warehouse and will be booked through Bangalore Airport to LHR on direct flight. (E.g. If going to UK)
Temperature Controlled LCL Ocean shipments are undertaken in the same way as Airfreight, we collect the cargo from the supplier and take to our Bangalore warehouse for further loading in reefer container to either Nava Sheva or Chennai Ports (using best ocean rates).
Reefer FCL Ocean shipments from one supplier we send the reefer container directly to suppliers factory and once the cargo is loaded, is then sent direct to the Port of Nhava Sheva or Chennai (using best ocean rates). Bangalore to Nhava Sheva is 14 -16 hours by road, and 6 -8 hours to Chennai.
We have full temperature controlled warehousing facilities, for storage, repacking, consolidation etc. We are however restricted to 15 Pallets if the cargo requires storage at a positive temperature, rather than chilled or frozen. Bangalore is well connected with Direct Flights to a high number of Global Capital Cities. Where possible we use direct flights, with indirect flights using our facilities in Dubai.
Mumbai Shipments
Temperature Controlled Airfreight Consolidation: Air shipments are taken to our warehouse for consolidation when an economy rate is required, then to Mumbai airport six hours before flight departure.
Urgent Airfreight: If we do not need to do any additional packing (dry ice, thermo wrap etc)/labeling then we may deliver shipment directly to Mumbai airport.
Temperature Controlled Ocean shipments are handled in the same way as per Airfreight shipments. We can either take the shipment to our warehouse, or Transfer directly to the container port. This is dependent upon whether the cargo is LCL or FCL.
Mumbai airport does not have a temperature controlled warehouse, and have only 1x40' size' temp control container which tends to be full most of the time. We use our own facilities in Mumbai as this is the only way we can guarantee keeping within the temperature guidelines. Our operations team book the space first with airlines then we deliver the cargo to Mumbai airport 6 hrs prior to flight departure, thus ensuring correct temperature parameters.
Delhi Shipments
Delhi supplier shipments will be routed directly to Delhi airport or Delhi CFS for Ocean, we follow the same systems as per Mumbai supplier shipments.
Most of the Delhi Air shipments we handle collected from the supplier and taken directly to Delhi Airport as they have required temp control warehousing. If any change of packing /labelling is required, this can be done within the Temperature Controlled Warehouse at Delhi Airport. The airport is well connected to major Global Captial Cities.

General Information
We have seven warehouses in India which includes both Temperature Controlled and general warehousing. As an example, in Mumbai we have a 3000 sq ft of temp controlled warehouse near Mumbai airport which is used exclusively for the handling of Temperature sensitive cargoes. In Delhi we have about 60,000 sq ft warehouse which is about 200km away from the City area its fully used exclusively for Temperature controlled shipments.
