Heathrow Temperature Controlled Warehouse

Our Temperature Controlled Warehousing facility opened recently and is now fully operational. We have the capacity for 90 frozen pallets and 120 pallets of chilled foodstuffs. Our location is approximately 10 minutes drive from Heathrow Airport. We have all storage, packing. re-packing facilites for despatch via road or airfreight.

This location at Heathrow makes it ideal for the storage of foodstuffs or perishable products for the Olympic games in London 2012. Please click on the following link for more information:

Bifa Liverpool Dinner February 2012

The annual regional BIFA bash was held at the Liner Hotel in Liverpool City Centre this year. On our table we had Karen & Les (Directors), Rachel Oliver (People Mechanics) and Graham Taylor ( Pendle Hardwoods). We dontated our Villa in Spain to the Bifa Auction and managed to get £700 for a week to be taken anytime in 2012. This money was split between Help the Hero's and Zoe's Place.

Berlin Fruit Logistica February 2012

We attended the Berlin Fruit Logistica exhibition 8-10 Feb 2012. Freezing temperatures of -12 oC greeted us at the airport. The exhibiton was a great success, and we managed to tie up deals with a dutch groupage operator for our chilled and frozen perishables and now have a 30,000 temperature controlled warehouseing facility at our disposal in Holland.

The second deal included an agreement with a major spanish haulier where we will be responsible for backloading their trailers to South of France, Spain and Portugal. As a result of the volume of trailers available, we have some pretty impressive rates on offer from the UK.

Finally, managed to get a ticket for Hertha Berlin v Borussia Moenchengladbach in Olympic Stadion. Great experience and great trip.

Marks & Spencer airfreight proposal

Supply Chain Solution were in London today meeting Marks & Spencer's logistics team. Last winter's extreme weather conditions and the impact upon road freight were discussed.

In the event of extreme weather this winter, we suggested our temperature controlled airfreight and warehouse operation at London Heathrow may provide an alternative if road freight is not an option.
