Stevedoring facilities are available at the locations above. The Facilities at Bromborough, Wirral include two operational berths (NAABSA) with a
quay length of 230m and can handle ships up to 6,000 tonnes. The facility is well-equipped to handle a wide variety of cargoes. The 11 acre site has
extensive open storage areas and 7,500 square metres of covered storage suitable for both bulk and general cargo. These facilites are located only 3.5
miles from Junction 5 of the M53 motorway, with excellent access to the North West, Midlands and Wales. Details of all other site facilites can be
provided upon request.
Brokerage and Chartering
Brokerage is still an important aspect of our activity.
The Brokerage and Chartering department in our office arrange for dry bulk ships of all types in the world market. Important features of our service
includes regular advice on the freight market, assistance with contract negotiations and full post-fixture follow-up. Our extensive worldwide network of
correspondents and affiliated Contacts and offices ensures that we achieve a thorough and appropriate coverage of the market.
The Department handles all dry cargo business including: Concentrates, Coal and coke, Grain, Sugar, Steel, Iron ore, Alumina, Mineral sands,
Fertilisers, Logs, Gypsum, Cement, Clinker, Sulphur, Project cargoes,.. and all types of Dry Cargo vessels for time charter and period charters. It

Ships Agency
When appointed as full agent, we take on responsibility as the legal representative of the ship owner for the port call. We act as the customer’s
local representative booking and coordinating services related to the ship’s port call.
The service is designed to encompass all activities required to take a vessel into a port and to ensure the port stay is as short and efficient as possible.
Pre-arrival services performed before vessel arrival at agreed rendezvous area are designed to ensure the vessel is ready for services as follows:
- Confirmation to our customers that we are ready and able to take on their appointment
- A firm cost indication (Proforma Disbursement Account)
- Pre-arrival reports
Port operations take place from end of sea passage, continuously until vessel resumes sea passage for next destination. Various services can be
performed, depending on individual customer's specific needs, and include:
- Execution of ordered services as per customer specification
- Monitoring of third party performance in delivery of products/services required by customer
- Supervision of performance, daily reports
- Monitoring of cargo operations
- Safekeeping of funds
- Keeping customers updated on services ordered and related expenses
- Issuing and completing relevant port operation documentation
- Departure arrangements
Post Departure continues until all documentation and invoices are received and customer has received and settled the final disbursement account for
the services provided. Supply Chain Solution Ltd will ensure that:
- All invoices for services and products are received and controlled
- Third parties have received final payment
- Final Disbursement account is prepared, including original vouchers and despatched to customer.
