We are a global supplier of both ambient and temperature controlled food enrichment products. Over many years we have used the servies of Supply Chain, who have offered us airfreight and roadfreight services. Over the Christmas period 2011 we were unable to secure transport from our suppliers in Europe and Supply Chain stepped in at short notice and delivered to us on Christmas Eve 2011. They informed us every step of the way and even organised a specific time convenient to us to get tipped. All in all an excellent service at rates we were more than happy with.

On the 9th March 2012, Les was kind enough to meet me to discuss how Supply Chain Solutions Ltd are collaborating with other companies within the logistics sector. Collaboration in the logistics industry is the subject of my PhD and it was very interesting to hear exactly how a company in the logistics industry use collaboration to serve the customers needs and requirements. Les provided detailed information on a number of examples of collaborations that Supply Chain Solutions Ltd are involved in and the performance benefits of these types of collaboration, which will allow me to broaden my study. Previous to this Les has also completed a number of questionnaires on the subject of collaboration for the University.
