The villa has a large living space which incorporates the kitchen. There is a downstairs toilet & hand-basin. Outside is a private courtyard & a small utility room where you’ll find the washing machine & the gas boiler. (A replacement bottle is delivered every week should you need one.)
- Upstairs is a double bedroom with large built in wardrobes, a smaller room with bunk beds. The main bathroom has a bath & shower.
- Extra guests can sleep on the double soafa bed in the living area.
- There is a DVD & television system
- We have a travel cot & stairgate & a selection of toys to keep the little ones occupied!
It is a gated complex so nice & seure & no one can just wander through or use the pool. Its a quiet complex. There are several retired English couples who live there & the rest of the villas are owned by Spanish families who tend to use the complex mainly at the weekends. August is also their holiday period, so thats the busiest time on the site.
We are 10 minutes walk from town, where there are a good selection of bars & restaurants, ranging from Chinese, Indian, Pizzerias, & traditional Spanish food. There is a large supermarket, el Arbor where you can buy everything you need. Watch out for siesta between 2pm-5.30pm make sure you shop before or after.
We are 10 minutes walk from the beach. The are a few to choose from, & if you drive to Bolnuevo you’ll find beautiful views & a long stretch of sandy beach & the naturalist beach too!!
On Sunday morning’s from about 7am there is a fantastic market where you can buy anything from a cooked chicken to garden furniture & everything in between. All the locals shop there so there are lots of bargains to be had & not a stuffed donkey to be seen!!!
Puerto de Mazarron on the Costa Calida, (The Sunshine Coast) enjoys some of the best summer sunshine and warm winter weather, with an average of 300 sunny days a year. The numerous Blue Flag sandy beaches, where you can swim, snorkel, dive fish or just relax under the Spanish Sunshine, are rarely crowded.
